Earthdance Arcosanti - A music festival for global peace happening at Arcosanti, the urban laboratory of Paolo Soleri, located in the Arizona desert.

Festival Guidelines

There are some basic guidelines for Earthdance Arcosanti that all festival goers should be aware of. We are thankful that the community at Arcosanti has opened its doors to allow Earthdance to use its beautiful and unique site as a venue. However, there are some rules/guidelines that all festival goers and guests must go by so that the festival is safe, fun, and as enjoyable as possible.

Admission Guidelines:

  • We encourage people to pay for the event's admission before they make the trip to Arcosanti. You will only be able to pay in cash at the gate. You can pay online or via phone. See our admissions page for more details.
  • Going camping? Great! But you absolutely MUST reserve your spot on our campgrounds ahead of time. There is very limited space, so go to the admissions page to reserve your space as soon as possible.
  • If you have any questions about admissions, feel free to email us!

Things you are encouraged to bring to Earthdance Arcosanti:

  • Extra Water - at least two extra water bottles—preferably a whole case. While there is water available at Arcosanti, it is wise to bring an extra supply just for yourself.
  • A Flashlight - it gets dark here! If you are camping, you definitely need this.
  • Cash Money - The Gallery and Cafe accepts credit cards, but think about this if you plan to purchase from Earthdance vendors who may not be able to take credit cards. If you are not paying for admission over the phone or online, you will need cash money for admission at the gate! There is not an ATM at Arcosanti.
  • Sun Protection - Sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, etc. This is the desert, after all.

Things you should bring to Earthdance Arcosanti if you are camping:

  • A Flashlight - Again, very important! Please do not go camping without this.
  • Insect Protection - Arcosanti does not get many mosquitos, but this is a good "just in case" for the night time. We share the site with various other bugs including Hualapai Tigers and scorpions.
  • First Aid - First aid will be available at Arcosanti, but your own supply of band-aids, gauze, etc. is wise.
  • A Snack - The Cafe at Arcosanti is open 24/7 with tea, coffee, water, bread, and fruit. But nothing else is available outside of dinner and lunch hours. Good to have if you get hungry during odd hours.
  • A Tent & Sleeping Bag - We do not allow RVs at the campgrounds!

Things you MAY NOT bring to Earthdance Arcosanti:

  • Firearms - or weaponry of any kind.
  • Non-Prescription or Illegal Drugs
  • Pets - You may only bring dogs if they are on a leash and if they are cleaned up after.

Other important guidelines:

  • Arcosanti is primarily a non-smoking site. However, there are designated smoking areas in the East Crescent and the parking lots. Please only smoke in these areas.
  • Do not enter areas that have "No Entry - Private" on the door. These are private residencies!
  • Please clean up after yourself and dispose of bottles, cans, trash, etc. in the appropriate bins around the site. We recycle, and you can help us do so!

FAQ:

  • Q: Can I bring kids to the festival? Do kids get a discount? A: You can certainly bring kids! Admission and camping reservations are free for children six and under. Children also get a discount on meals of $5.95 (as opposed to the adult price for a full buffet at the Arcosanti Cafe, which is $8.95).
  • Q: How many people can I bring in a single camping reservation? A: Camping reservations are four people per reservation.
  • Q: Can I bring a grill or make a campfire on the campgrounds? A: Unfortunately we are not allowing any fires, for cooking or otherwise, on the campgrounds. This is due to fire safety regulations.
