Michael O'Rourke is a new media producer/theorist and founder of Dimension 7, a pioneering company in the creation of interactive entertainment environments ('Immersive Environments'). Dimension 7(D7) is a consortium of Artists, Computer Scientists, Technicians, Musical/Visual Producers and digitally savvy professionals. D7 has been developing entertainment applications which involve expertise in data broadcasting, projection media, lasers, and computer related technologies to create what it calls 'immersive environments' for commercial and entertainment purposes, as well as exploring the relationship between technology and the creative process and community based social interactions.
