Jeremy Lawrence has performed “Talking Tennessee” at Arcosanti last year and will be back for this play, originally commissioned and developed by the American Southwest Theatre Company (ASTC). The play was developed over a year and is based in part on The Expanded Quotable Einstein by Alice Calaprice and “The Collected Papers of Albert Einstein.” ASTC and Lawrence first discussed the idea following Lawrence’s one-man show, in 2003.

“It is especially fitting that we look at the life of such an incredible scientist and humanitarian, especially during the centennial of his theory of relativity,” says Tom Smith, ASTC producing artistic director. “Einstein was a complex man, and his life is perfect for the stage.”
