"What's
the point in building an Arcology if you don't take care of it?"
The Maintenance department repairs existing mechanical systems,
physical structures and equipment needed on a daily basis. This
department also provides general services such as a technical assistance
cadre
for special events, janitorial and general labor task force.
Our department monitors mechanical systems, a recycling program,
and solutions to maintenance problems that are lasting solutions
reducing maintenance expenses and enhance life quality without adversely
impacting life quality, (environmental constraints). A student can
expect a learning experience with electric, plumbing, gas, carpentry,
tile, masonry, metallurgy and or environmental manipulation. We
are looking for individuals capable and interested in a variety
of activities and disciplines. Most of our activities center from
the Lab Building referred to as the Wood Shop. Our department also
accesses the mechanic shed and metal shop. There can also be outdoor
work. Facilities includes, the Wood Shop, Metal Shop and Maintenance.
