Paolo Soleri Archives
Archives and the ITO (Information Technologies Office) is responsible
for the dissemination of information of Arcology theory and its
application through support for the educational mission of the Foundation.
The Archive’s also keeps original documents and periodicals
regarding Paolo Soleri, Arcosanti, and Arcology.
The Soleri Archives long term goals are:
- Documentation of Soleri's works and the activities of
the Cosanti Foundation.
- Conservation and cataloging of Soleri's works and the
related activities.
- Production of supporting materials for print and electronic
media and publication websites, events, exhibitions and
special programs..

Soleri Archive Internship
A unique opportunity exists to explore Arcosanti's past, study Soleri's
work and accomplishment over a half century and help preserve an
important part of architectural history.
Areas of Training and Responsibilities
Areas of Training and Responsibilities
- Cataloging: labeling, filing, and
data entry of archival materials.
- Administrative assistance: clerical
tasks.
- Research: archival research assistance.
- Photographic, scanning and reproduction
assistance.
- Work area maintenance and improvements

Requirements
- Must successfully complete 5-week
Arcosanti Workshop first.
- Must commit for at least 3 months.
- Must be self motivated and able
to work with other people.
- Must have a working knowledge of
general computer programs in PC and Macintosh operating
system. (Some training will be provided as needed.)
- Although it is not mandatory, to
have some knowledge of archival preservation is helpful.
