Tours

Experience Arcosanti on a guided tour. Stop in any day of the week for an Arcosanti Site Tour or call ahead for a Specialty Tour. We are always pleased to help plan a visit for your group. Tour buses and school buses are welcome.

Daily Arcosanti Site Tour

[Duration: 1 Hour] Tours start daily at 10 am, 11 am, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm and 4 pm. (Sorry, NO noon tour!)

The Arcosanti Site Tour includes an explanation of Paolo Soleri’s urban design philosophy and an overview of the Arcosanti project. A guide will walk you through Arcosanti to view and explain the unique buildings, visit the ceramic studio and bronze foundry, and offer insight to the community life. Suggested donation: $10 
(Groups more than 9 people: $7 per person or $5 per student)

Specialty and Group Tour

Architecture & Planning Tours [Duration: 2 hours]

Conducted by a member of our Planning Department and consists of the general tour plus a tour of the planning office, current construction, and a special session on design development with models and drawings.
Cost: $25 per person and $15 for students ($200 minimum)

Bird Watching Tours [Duration: 2.5 hours]

Enjoy a bird watching tour through our pristine Aqua Fria River Riparian area. Birding lists of 200 species, developed by the Sonoran Audubon Society, will be provided. Approximately two miles of gentle hiking along the river is required.
Cost: $25 per person and $15 for students ($200 minimum)

Archaeological Tours [Duration: 4 hours]

Join an experienced an informative guide on a moderate hike through some of our 860 acre high desert site. View petroglyphs, pueblo ruins, and explore our unique geological features.
Cost: $30 per person and $20 for students ($300 minimum)

Non-English Arcosanti Site Tour [Duration: 1 hour]

Non English Arcosanti Site Tours can be arranged depending on guide availability.  Languages: Italian, French, German, Japanese, etc.
Cost: $15 per person and $10 for students. ($150 minimum)
