Temporary housing for Workshoppers and Residents
Status: Temporary |
The construction
of Camp was begun in 1970 to provide quick temporary
housing for the first residents. There are a variety
of spaces, including places for people
to pitch tents, a collection of 8 foot concrete cubes,
a collection of 6 X 8 foot wooden rooms under a collective
roof known as the Bunkhouse, and a communal wood and
canvas
yurt for 15 people. There is a unisex bathroom complete
with electricity and private shower stalls. There are
two experimental greenhouses in camp, as well as some
small outdoor agriculture operations. These days, Workshop
participants
customarily stay in Camp.
The Greenhouse
Guest Rooms are to the west of camp. The Marvel
Ranch is to the east. |
