Interns and volunteers of the Arcosanti Welding shop learn many stages of metal fabrication. The present project is a railing for the north side of East Crescent Phase III. This railing has a very tricky curve.

Welding teacher Phillip Bonham works with volunteer Jeffrey Meylan. The individual steel pieces have been cut at an exact angle and are now welded into place.
