The backbone of the Cosanti Foundation is a team of dedicated and passionate people working hard every day to carry out and support our mission. The Cosanti Foundation works to support both Arcosanti and Cosanti.
The Cosanti Foundation is a 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit with a focus on influencing the way the built environment is created in balance with a wholly-owned for-profit subsidiary, Cosanti Originals. Cosanti Originals operates the foundries and ceramics studios at both Cosanti and Arcosanti to produce bronze and ceramic windbells, and other hand-crafted gift and home decor items.
Volunteerism has a long, rich history with The Cosanti Foundation. Its experimental architectural structures at both Cosanti and Arcosanti were built entirely through the dedication of volunteers through what was then called a “Workshop.” Though the need for volunteer labor to build structures ended in July 2019 with our final Arcosanti Workshop, our need for the help of volunteers remains high. Now, instead of building new structures, we’ve refocused our volunteer efforts to help us build capacity.
The vision statement for our volunteer program is “Experiences We Can Build On” and we actively create opportunities for volunteers to have meaningful experiences, learning and working alongside our community and staff, to build capacity for The Cosanti Foundation.
Volunteer Open Houses and Orientations are held throughout the year; make plans to attend and find out more about volunteering with us. For more information contact email@example.com
